truck needed some minor paint work/rust repair, so I took care of it this weekend, I also installed a self dimming mirror, tinted the rear window, installed a bed cover and a cd player.

Looks good.
I can't wait to get my truck down here so I can tear into it (read my latest post in the "Ugh, more problems" thread), A few of the side projects I'll be doing is taking the front bumper off to remove some of the rust that is forming on the back of it and than coating it so it doesn't come back; as well as completing my electrical projects on it. Oh, and installing permanent transmissions lines.

I'm afraid owning these 1st gens is like a never ending project, but I'm not complaining, it's fun and it keeps me out of trouble. I've still got probably weeks or even months of work lined up for things I want or need to do to both of my Daks. My '95 is getting a fuel pump soon, and new CV shafts, and then there's the '92 that needs all the minor stuff. My biggest mechanical issue so far on the '92 was a fuel smell, I noticed I was losing fuel from what I thought at first glance was the filter, but a broken clamp was the culprit, free hose clamp fixed it , only wish it was like that for every issue

Nice looking truck. I'm curious as to what you used for paint. The paint on my 94 is starting to peel and I'd like to do some touch up. Thanks.

I used duplicolor rattle cans to be completely honest, just be sure to use light coats, sand first make sure the old paint and the gaps inthe paint are feathered together first you don't want to feel the difference between the paint and where it's peeling. Sand between coats, clear coat it, wet sand it and polish it on out and you'll be good to go (Obviously the abbreviated version of touch up 101)
