got my flatbed done finally

Default got my flatbed done finally

used 3x3 square steel for the frame of it and i used 1/8in steel diamond plate for the bed. lmk what u think of it.

i have the headache rack on it but i gotta get my screen on there... im putting a piece of steel at the bottom so i can put the tire of the dirt bike against it. thanx for the replys guys

well i added rails yesterday and i painted it today.... iused a compressor and spray gunfrom a yard sale that i paid 5 bux for and an 8 dollar can of paint from wally world.

Anyone know how he mounted this to the frame or what the frame of the bed looked like?

I'll be doing something similar soon but I haven't had a chance to have a good look at how the bed frame is going to need to be shaped to bolt onto the truck frame.

Mostly curious how big of a gap exists between the two in some places. Ideally I'd like to just weld together a basic square frame with bracing with holes in it where the bolts need to go through then weld sheet metal or diamond plate to the top of it for the bed with short rails into a short tailgate in the back.
