cant wrap my head around this tire thing..
i called a shop today asking about tires.&\\;nbsp\\; they quoted me $137.00 per tire, mounted, rotated and all the good stuff.&\\;nbsp\\; i gave them my old tire size and i said i wanted 31’’s..and they said that 31’’ tires are wider then the stock 28’’ (or w/e is stock).&\\;nbsp\\; so i said thank you and hung up. <\\;br>\\;<\\;br>\\;my question is, can i use the stock rims, and still fit 31’’ tires?&\\;nbsp\\; also what is the width of the stock tire because they said they have 31/1050..can someone explain all this to me, lol!<\\;br>\\;<\\;br>\\;thanks guys.<\\;br>\\;
yeah..idk what happened up there /\\&\\;nbsp\\; lets try this again.<\\;br>\\;<\\;br>\\; i called a shop today asking about tires. they quoted me $137.00 per tire, mounted, rotated and balanced, does that seem fair? i gave them my old tire size and i said i wanted 31’s..and they said that 31 inch tires are wider then the stock 28 inch (or w/e is stock). so i said thank you and hung up. <\\;br>\\;<\\;br>\\;my question is, can i use the stock rims, and still fit 31 inch tires? also what is the width of the stock tire because they said they have 31/1050..can someone explain all this to me, lol!<\\;br>\\;<\\;br>\\;thanks guys.<\\;br>\\;
<\\;P>\\;Don’t worry about that extra code, its doing that all over the place right now.<\\;/P>\\;
<\\;P>\\;As far as your question, I don’t really know.<\\;/P>\\;
<\\;P>\\;Isn’t crazy running 33’s on stock rims, or am I blind?<\\;/P>\\;

31x10.5 are 31" tall by 10.5" across. And yes, these tires are bigger than stock...I think stock is 215 cm tall x 150 cm wide (I'll leave it up to you to convert that). The 31's will fit on stock rims. As far as the price goes, $137 each for everything is a decent price, but that all depends on the tire too. There are plenty of $137 tires for sale out there that I wouldn't give $50 for. My best advice is to shop around for something on sale and do some comparisons. Now isn't the time to take the first deal you come across\\; there are too many dealers out there fighting for all the business they can get during this "recession".
