well i go to change my oil today, get the oil off the shelve in autozone, and the first one says 10W-30, so i grab 5 quarts, and at a quick glance all the bottles look the same, so im good. change the oil, put in the new and when im throwing out the bottles, the sticker catches my eye and i figure out that i only grabbed one 10W-30 and four 5w-20's.

am i ok to runn this oil in the summer heat?!?! (i live in PA and go to NJ for the summer)

i cant believe that only the first bottle, was on the right shelf!! damn lazy workers. and i cant believe i didnt realize it! somebody please help. thanks

 

Don't worry about it. You don't do much towing, right? I personally wouldn't put much load on the engine until the next oil change, but it's still a multi-visc oil so you're okay.

and the V-8 is nice till you think about the gas mileage. but im getting about 18-19 overall hand calculated so i guess its not so bad.

 

Well, the V-6 ain't easy on gas. I average 12 city, 17-18 highway.

I feel bad, I knew I should have bought the V-8, but I didn't exactly have the same truck, just with a V-8, next to it.

 

eh I once put 5W-50 in mine.... probley the most oil those bearings ever got
