i have a 95 dakota with a 3.9..i pulled the motor to change freeze plugs..put everything back in..turned key.fired once died..i checked every plug found one undone..O2 sensor..pluged it in.no fire ..checked coil..fine..checked tranny position sensor..fine..next option is computer..but there super spendy..was hoping to get some other opinions on this..anything would help

Auto shutdown relay maybe? Are you getting fuel? Are you getting spark from the coil while cranking? Is the timing correct? There's a whole list prior to the comp being bad. What all EXACTLY have you checked?

 

turn key on do not start-turn key off-on 3 times check engine lite will flash code emissiom section of chilton book list codes.
