testing horn and clockspring on a 1996 dakota
My horn died on my 1996 dakota.
Cruise works and airbag light is off.
The fuse is fine and the relay is fine. At the relay, I can add +12V to the horn leg and it sounds.
I have a chilton manual, but I don't see the wiring schematic for the horn.
Is there away to pull manually ground the horn at the clockspring harness to test the wiring from that point onto the horn?
Can the clockspring be grounded manually to see if something in the push buttons went bad?

There are two round horn buttons.
Can they be pulled from the top side without damaging them?
Neither one of them work and they both died at the same time. That is why I am thinking it is the clock spring or the wire lead going to it

After pulling the airbag and steering wheel, I tested the clockspring.
It worked perfect.
Long one short, the steering column ground clip came loose and lost connection with the frame.
