Front engine Seal

Default Front engine Seal

is there any quick fix to stop this seal from leaking i don't have the time to fix or the energy most days to clean up after this leak

Not really, best bet is to repair it, if you start adding anti leak "bottles" you'll find yourself doing that often, they work for maybe a week or two then your problem will be right back and sometimes worse than before

Not to mention it will ruin the other seals that are not leaking yet.

lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer will slow it down, and help out the rest of the engine.

replace it. it's not that much work and it gives you a chance to check the slack in the timing chain and the bearing in the water pump. if in doubt replace them. the timing chain set and water pump are 30 bucks each and the gasket/sealis about 15 bucks. then you have no more front end engine problems. it's bad when you replace the seal andthen replace the timing chain 8 months later and have do it all over again. mine is a 89 dakota sport 3.9 and the chain started slapping around at about 170,000 kms (100,000 miles), that's not saying yours will but it gives you a chance to check it.
