ok im doing the electric fan swap What I want to do is just run a manual switch. I got one out a 93 mecurry sable for FREE but still need to get a wiring and mounting kit, but I here all the roar about the mark Viii fan and theres one ebay out a 96 t-birdwith wiringfor about 60$. So which one should I go with? wanted ur guys opionions on this.

Actually the one out of the intrepid is an almost perfect fit and would probably be your best bet

i bought a mark 8 fan and it wont fit!!![:@]it is an awesome fan too, even with trimming there was no wat. get the thinnest one you can , the sabel one will probably work. i just hooked mine up toa toggle in the cab too. you will want to use a relay though from the curent the fan draws.

really it didn't fit? dude that sux! I here of other dak guys doin it but maybe its just the 2nd gen cause they have the horzontial flow radiators?

Ya thats what I have heard. I have just bought some univeral 18in and did some custom mounts. Use one relay per fan and the fatest wires you can to keep good flow to the fans. Out of all of the mods I have done, This is the biggest improvement in freeing up power.( exept the 5.9 swap)

Im gonna try and find a intrpid fan but real quick question is im gonna be running 16' electric fan, a 12' electric, off road lights, trailer lights, should I upgrade to a 120amp alt?

Your stock should hanndle it, but upgrading is always better. I got a 140amp from autozone. I only got it because a lifetime warrenty. It would deffently be better to upgrade it for idle and low rpms
