1994 dakota 2x4 axle flip , what needs to be changed?

will drive shaft be fine? looks like i will need new shocks, should brake lines be fine?


also from the pic is this the 9.25? axle

Im guessing you meen to do a spring over axle swap. The axle is 8.25. Are you going to make it taller or do you have some other reson. Just simply put the axle on top of the spring. You will only need a spring purch. you can get them anywhere. Here is one. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku You will lift the rear somewhere around 5in. Measure your axle and springs and thats how tall it will lift it. If it is too high try add a leaf. air shocks. air bags. I just added a rams 2500 rear springs. When I did my 4x4 swap I keeped my 2wd axle so I had to do a spring over axle conversion. here is a pic.
