Default 1993 dodge dakota problem

I just hit 100,000 miles on my dakota. There is a hesitation when i get on the gas pedal, the truck hesitates for a second or 2, then i take my foot off the pedal and push the pedal down and the truck takes off again. this has been doing it on and off for a month or more, ill have some good days were nothing happens and some bads days where it will happen a few times. i was recently going up a hill and out of no where i pretty much lost all my speed (right around 35 miles and also when im at 55-60 ,( but not that much, recently going up big hills on highways it may occur), i coasted it to a parking lot and it sat for 10 mins. i fired it up and drove it home as if nothing had happened. im not getting any lights on or anything, anyone have ideas? i thought it might have been tranny but that seems to be fine (just dumped a bottle of lucas in it to make sure lol) im stumped??? thanks for any help?
