Default buring oil?

pretty sure my 5.2 is buring oil, if i step on the gas and get over 2300rpm there is a crap load of whiteish blue, and other times it is gray, anyone know what could be wrong, my guess is the piston rings but i havent had the chance to do a compression test to it, any advice awesome

Sounds like oil or coolent. Hopefully something simple like a blown head gasket. or rings.

I think coolent smoke is thick, very white, and non dependant on rmps if its getting into your engine. it sounds exactly like oil to me. i agree with crazy, prolly a head gasket or rings. it could also be getting in through the valves.
