I have a 93 dakota with a 318 bored .030 idleing around 250-500RPM W/7MM sparkplug wires. This weekend I replaced them with 8.5MM msd superconductor wires and it now idles at 800-1000RPM and runs hot. It ran cool before but old wires arced to engine.
has anyone experienced this or know the solution to this problem? the arcing is gone now.
