92 Dakota 318, automatic. Wasn't on the road at all last winter. Did run through gears and move back-&-forth in drive once or twice a week. Back on road this summer but shifting weird. It's gotten better but, if I "get on it" a little or speed up to pass someone and it shifts for that, it seems to get stuck in second gear and refuses to shift. I'll have to stop and shift through all gears again, then it will be fine untill the next time I "get on her".
Any ideas ???

 

Could be the condition of the fluid, could be time for a change, although if you've got over or close to 130-140k it's probably due for a trans all together

 

OUCH, new trany ??? Fluid change first though !!!
