The Viper suspension "based" on dakota geometry guys, don't too excited about that statement. They said in the article that they lengthened the frame on 91 and later to fit the V8,I thought they just changed the radiator support and used the same mounting holes in frame. At least thats what i was hoping because I have a 90 I was hoping to convert to Magnum 5.9 power someday...someday

Well there were v8s avilble before 91. The 5.9 and 5.2 are the same exact think externally. So since 5.2s fit. 5.9s will.

I've been searching for it. For some reason this magazine has been putting out a new one every 2 months. I don't think its Sposato be like that but thats what I have been experiencing. The last one came out around this time 2 months ago. I will see if I can pick up the new one.

My question should have been,Does the newer radiator support bolt onto the older frame rails at the same location or do you need to lengthen them.I really don't like the idea of an electric fan like the Shelby Daks. Have heard of temp issues in traffic in hot weather with a/c on etc. I also wouldn't mind the questions like "Is that factory?". A Lil Red Dakota with a 5.9 magnum would be sweeet! Plus it should be the way it should have been new.
