what is the width of a 96 Dak 8.25 compared to an A body or B body dodge 8.75?

oh BTW i thought 91 to 96 Dakotas were 2nd Gen?????

drum to drum the A body is 2" narrower. But the spring perches will fit

The A body axle will be way too narrow, about 3" per side. The B is a closer fit, but the perches/spring pads will have to be moved.
The 8.75 from a 61-71 D100 is a close fit as well.
