Default 95 dodge dakota 3.9 v6 error code 27 help!

Error code 27 is injector control circuit.... where is the circuit and how can i fix it... I have another engine from a 93 dodge and everything is the same so I can just swap it but I do not recognize what or where this circuit is.

It meens one of the fuel injectors is failing. Do you have a miss? Is the engine running good? If not then try to find out which one is failing. If you get the codes read by a scanner, it will tell you which one. Then replace it.

just unplug the battery for about a min. so it will reset the codes.

code came back.... Ive had trouble with the truck not starting from time to time in the past... narrowed it down to the fuel pump.. replaced it and that code went away... also I feel more power in the engine.. it was starving for gas..

Double check your electrical connector at the fuel pump. If it is not all the way in to where it has clicked past the little tit, it will do exactly what you are saying. mine is hehehe

I'm resurrecting this old post because my truck started running very rough and missing horribly after the check engine light threw a code 27 out in the middle of the Mojave (I was having flashbacks from the Legion movie), the only thing around was a back woods(back desert?) garage who I knew were going to put the Deliverance on me.
Earlier, I had put in a new fuel module, so I got under there and for the heck of it squeezed the heck out of the electrical connector, and it was music to my ears; "click".
I though I had gotten it together tight, even as far as lightly squeezing it together with a pair of pliers, but I guess not.
No more code, and it runs perfectly now; even increased horsepower and MPG (18MPG from the 11 I was getting).

What did we ever do before Androids and iPhone's?

My truck got this code the other day. It was a cold start and hadn't been started in a few days though. I hope its just that its getting low on gas but I'll be putting gas in and treating it and hopefully all will be good.

Have a 93 Dakota 3.9 started missing the other night on the way home. replaced plugs, cap & rotor, plugs wires. still missing under a load, idle slightly, 60 65 fine slightest incline it drops to a lower gear. only code I get from the check engine is 55
