mines a 96 (eff obd2) had hollowed out cat. cat back duel magniflow. now its stock. dad got tired of hearing the neighbors complain. lol. no lift with 31bfg allterrains. ive loved this truck sence day one. ive put 2 t cases in it and a tranny. shes been wheeled HARD out here in the deep forests of New Hampshire. shes a rust bucket with just 1k shy of 350000 miles. lol. has a hole the size of a half dollar in the left rear. but shes got quite a record. pulled out my buddys dodge 2500 with 35s. twice. 90s jimmy with 33s wen it was stuck up to its fenders. lol. but sad enough her life comes to an end in september, wont pass another inspection. i want another 91-95 dakota. most reliable truck ive ever had. rip. lol.

New here bought my 94 in High School first vehicle ive owned. Love it 318 auto all stock except for the exhaust (redneck job Straight pipe). Super reliable all for only 700$. from IL. Pics but dont know how to post them

Fixed IMG tags
Just got this yesterday as my first car from an auction. its not running at the moment and we havent figured out why. Body is solid, and theres little to no rust. 2WD, 3.9L magnum V6. Its a 96. Also, the oil dipstick is really long for some reason, and it wont come out. I was wondering if anyone here could help me figure out what the heck is up with that.

As for starting it could be anything. The most common problem is the power splices just below the relay box under the hood. For details and pics check out the FAQ in this section. As for the dip stick it may be bent on the inside or the the flange is bent. It shouldn't be to hard to replace it.
