Default Recall Question?

I have owned a 1993 Dodge Dakota for about 2 years now and I saw a few recalls for my truck on the internet, but the recalls were posted 3 to 8 years ago. So my question is can I still get those recalls done on my truck or do the recalls expire?

I have dim headlights and I know I saw a recall from Dodge about dim headlights on 93 dodge dakotas.

Just wondering

If recalls are the same as technical service bulletins then they dont expire... it doesnt matter how old, how many miles, nor if you are the original owner.

Well as far as I know some do some dont. I know my sisters taurus had a recall it did have an exparation on it. And I belive there was someone who had a recall on his rack and pinion nuts and dealer told him it expired. I may be wrong. I think on emergency recalls they dont expire but all others probably do. But deffently call your local dealership and ask. Its worth a few mins on the phone.

safety recalls dont expire anything elese may just be extented warr and have a time or mileage limit the ony recall I can find for your year truck is #574 abs brake return ck valve. now that said I happens that some recalls chrysler stops making the recall parts
but they are older ones but if your dealer can find the parts they wil do it and recall's are always FREE

that is a recall for after market side marker and bumper lights....... nothing to do with the factory. i think the dealer would get good chuckle about it though if you asked them, lol. jk
