Default found problem while replacing Egr Valve

When i replaced my EGR valve i noticed the hose that connects over the nipple was cut in 2. I found the other end it connects to a splitter of some sort, also there seemed to be another hose beside this one that was cut also but i did not notice where it came from. I assume that i need to replace this hose? It didnt look like there was anything special to replacing it.

Yes I would replace it, it's part of your vacuum system, could potentially lead to running problems down the road, not to mention, lack of function for the EGR or the backpressure transducer

Ya deffitly replace it. If you have a few extra dollers around replace all the easy hoses. If one or two are cracked. Chances are another may be or close to cracking. If you need we have a link for vacuum diagrams in the FAQ.
