Question Anyone else getting garbage hose clamps?

I am just wondering if it is just me, but as of late all the hose clamps I have been buying from both Autozone and Murrays Auto have been breaking and falling apart on me. Just today driving home from work I had a hose clamp break off of my lower radiator hose, and when I was replacing the water pump I had a defective one out of the package that wouldn't tighten the clamp, it would just loosen. Am I going to have to make a special trip somewhere to buy a quality hose clamp that is made in America????

Buy American when you need something important. I won't buy Chinese crap for my vehicles.

Amen! I am glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this!

I have found that Home Depot, Lowes and the local hardware stores carry decent hose clamps. They're priced around the same as the junk ones too. The mom 'n pop hardware store here in town has the best ones.

Yeah, I always use the Home Depot ones, not sure who makes them, but they never let me down.
