Default 95' Dakota Won't Start?

Forum Moderator,
Please feel free to move this to a more appropriate location if the need be!

I know this has been posted before and perhaps not worthy of a new thread but here goes;

If your Dakota won't start and you have checked for a no spark situation and also found that the fuel pump is not working, PLEASE save yourself a tons of hours of troubleshooting.

Dodgerules has it up on a sticky and several others have posted it. A very common issue with these trucks is the wiring harness below the power distribution box. Don't believe it's that simple? Proof is in the pudding, Happy Holidays!

Check this out...

I have the same problem of my 96 not starting so I checked the splice but it appears to be good could it possibly still be bad while still looking good?

On my '92 the splice was still connected, and would look good to me if I didn't know better. It had a layer of green on it, a very light layer too and it still prevented a current from getting thru.
