Default NEED HELP ASAP please!!!

Hi everyone. about 3 months ago i bought my first vehicle. its a 95 dodge Dakota (sport). its a great truck and it run amazing for its age. on my 18th b-day i got new speakers and a deck for my truck. the speakers went in great. i tried to install the deck my self. not having really any money to take it in to a professional, i bought a wiring kit and a harness. i took out the factory stereo and wired everything my self.. and it worked!!! i was so happy.i even sat in my truck and listened to some tunes. i went out later that night to see soem friends. i turned on the deck. put and song on and cranked up the volume. as soon as the first bass beat came the whole thing shut off and hasnt turned on since.. i took it out and tried re wiring it. still nothing.. i tried the factory stereo and it didnt work as well.. im not sure if i blew a fuse or soemthing but if anyone could help i would appreciate it very much thanks

check a 5 amp fuse under the hood, one of my buddies cranked mine and it did the same thing. i think it is the same as the dome light. but check all other ones too and see.

Yeah I had the same problem last year. I lost the interior lights and the radio. There is a 15amp I believe in the fuse block under the dash and a 5amp in the PDC (Power Distribution Center) under the hood.

My sis had the same issue with the fuse in the PDC, I switched it out with a 10 amp (not recommended, but it's what I had) and problem solved
