Default Prevent Rust

Hey!
So, I'm looking for products to:
1) Prevent rust from happening where it hasn't occured
2) Clean up small spots of current rust so that I can protect it from further death.

Anyone got any recommendations?
(FYI, I'm also wondering about this to protect my new car before it gets the chance to rust, too)

If you are looking for a converter, you want a product known as "Silver Bullet". Great stuff...

If you want a preventer, use any product made as an exterior application. Best bet is to go with something that uses a catalyst as a hardener. There is an undercoating system made by 3M that is a two part paint.

Don't go with any company that you think is cheap. You will get what you pay for.

It may not be exactly what your looking for but a good product for rust provention. http://www.ruststoponline.com/ Lots of units out there like this. If I remember it right It uses a negtive charged electronic pulse that is sent out on the frame and body. This prevents other negitive particals to come in contact with the frame and cause rust. Something like that. This procuct had been featured on Truckstv and TrucksU and 2guy garage and Horsepower.
