Default Need some input

Hi everyone i'm new to the forum and i also have a problem that i can't seem to fix. I have a 95 manual dakota with a 2.5 four banger and 256.000 miles. This is the problem when driving she just stall out w/o sputtering and no resart let it set for a day or so and she'll start up like nothing is wrong but at some time will just stall out like mention before. So i've done this to correct the probem plugs/wires/cap @ rotor/ the module that goes under the cap and rotor i can't remember the name off the top of my head/air control valve/coil/engine control mod. thats it but i still have the problem. something i forgot when it doesn't restart there is no spark at plugs and no fuel coming out of the injector. so i'm at a lost most of this work was done at repair shop that i trust. i did the tune up and ECM. any advice would be helpful thanks for your input and if i can get the thing to run i'll post some picks of her. I forgot it has a code 25 comes up but this part has been replace but the code still there. Thanks again

Sounds like the bad splice for the ASD relay. Look in the FAQs, link is at the top of the Gen 1 section.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Sounds like the ASD (auto shut down) relay or a problem with the igition or the wires ot any of these. The ASD would be a simple start. Make sure it is truning on then check to see if it is putting out power.

Default Checked

I checked the relay and it looks good i'm going to replace it though tomarrow. But the splicing do i need to get inside the black box because the wires on the outside are very nicely rapped with out no single wire showing so i'm not sure what i'm looking for.

The splice, if its bad, should be outside of the PDC (black box). I guess on the I4, its more towards the firewall, where as on the V6/V8 its more towards the box.
From the looks of the wiring diagram photos, the splice should be around the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reserviour.
If you go to the FAQs, you can download a copy of the wiring diagram. It will help you a lot, to find out what color/gauge wire you will be looking for, where the splices are located, where all the wires go/etc.
