Ok guys I changed my fuel filter and when I broke opened that old one the inside was as black as 6000mile oil. Is that bad? lol

Well, I'd say no.
Should probably replace your fuel filter more often.

Hmm... did you change the fuel filter between when you got the truck and now?

Nope I never thought about it until about a few months ago. I already ordered a gasket set for the TBI. I think when it comes in gonna pull the throttle body and give it a good cleaning after seeing that crud in the filter. The sad thing is, the gas that was remaining in the filter was dark.

Good call on the TBI gasket. I noticed a stain on the intake from where mine has been leaking. I will do the same and see if I can clean it up some. Maybe this will also increase gas mileage some! I am tired of seeing 14 mpg.

Im tired of seeing 12mpg no matter how I drive it. I also ordered a shift kit and pumkin gaskets at to change the fluid in both axles to synthetic oil.
