if i pull my battery terminal should my dakota run?

You know, I can definately see that happening under one condition. If you have a very worn down battery thats pulling a whole lot of current to charge it, and then unplug it, that current spike will go to the next closest electronic system, which could very well be the computer. I don't, however, think its very likely, cause the alternator is not likely to push that kind of current or voltage at idle.

Accully I did. The voltage regulator is part of the pcm. It is possible. But unlikly but possible!
