Default Bigger Cam

So I've got the 5.9 almost all the way torn down, and I've started making a list of parts for rebuilding it. I decided since I'm going through this much effort I may as well put a bigger cam in it. I don't want to change the lifters/rockers/springs if i don't have to so I figured I'd have to settle with a mild cam. I was wondering if anyone has put a cam in their engine and which one you went with, how was the clearance, and how big a difference could you tell in power.

P.S. It's a magnum engine, so my choices are kinda limited.

Im not a big fan of bigger cams for our trucks. Because I know I need power at the lower end of the RMPs. But lots others give positive feedback on them. I would suggest the 1.7 ratio rockers. Ive been wanting them. If going to get bigger might as well keep goin. As far as I know there are ones that will fit under stock valve covers and will be easy install without mods. And come with rods. I belive I have it listed in FAQ2 if not I can do a quick search to find the link.

I was thinking about the 1.7 rockers, and as for the cam, I know I still want to find something with a low power band. I want one that has a longer duration more than greater lift. There are several cams on summit from comp cams that have an rmp rating from 700 or 800 up to 4800, which I could be wrong but sounds to me like it won't change the range of the factory powerband much. But those cams are over $300, and I was just curious if anyone out there makes them cheaper.

dont think you can find any cheaper, and the factory springs are pretty weak with any real valvetrain change, i would upgrade them even with some 1.7's in my opinion.
