Default 94 5.2l Heat Selector Cable problem...

My heat selector cable has come out of place so I can't change from hot to cold, wondering if someone could direct me on how it is supposed to be connected to the lever?! My blower and hvac all works great, I just can't get the selector set up to move the mixer door.. Cheers.

I just need to know where the end of the cable hooks onto. There is an eye on the cable and I know that attaches to the lever, it just doesn't seem to want to stay on any way I've tried, does anyone have a pic of the top of the temperature control unit with the cable installed??

Im sure you can find a good pic of one in the servace manuals or even the part manuals we have posted in the FAQ in this section.

Thanks for the suggestions Crazy, I did check the Haynes manual along with an on-line manual and the FAQ's, none showed a picture of the unit assembled, or gave instructions on that specific task. For some reason this simple job is quite a headache! I know it's easy, I just can't seem to find the answer. I changed my water pump and bypass hose last week and that was a joke compared to this!! lol
