i got the tail lughts to work!!!! One needed a new socket and a new fuse where there wasnt one before. I finally remembered that when I put my new radio in that I "barrowed" a fuse. I finally replaced it and low and behold the lights work. Everything is finally done, i hope!!!!!!!

Once you say "Its done" something else will pop out is head and say oh no you don't! But that cool you got it done! Lights are defiantly important! So was the old light socket corroded or something?

Ya sorry for the hi-jack too! At the bottom of the shaft just above the first u joint there is that rubber Isolator. That thing disintegrated, so the steering was going everywhere It was scary. I have the one from my 2wd but I had to rebuild the bottom end swap out the connector and shaft and used the 2wd Isolator and housing. At least now it has steel parts instead of aluminum.

Yeah it was pretty corroded, the stamped tin peice that locks it into the tail light housing was gone. The only two wire socket they had at oreillys was one for a ford. All it took was some filing and it fit snug. Ohhh and once I got that new fuse in my anti lock light went off. Next project is to get two new fenders for the front, last winter i was driving to work and I heard this bang on the side of my door and it was my fender flare. That whole edge is that holds the flare is gone. Then after that I think im gonna get one of those brush guards of ebay and add some lights!!!
