Default Exhaust??

Ok, so I've realized that my new toy will need all new exhaust. Someone must have ran over a rock at one time and punched a hole in the Y-pipe which they later patched with a piece of sheet metal. Also bent it up pretty good.

I've been pricing Y-pipes, and about crapped myself when I saw what they are wanting for one!!

Cheapest I could find was online at Rock Auto for $289.00. Even that is totally ridiculous! $300 for a damn pipe?? NAPA wanted over $400!!

Does anyone make a true-dual system for these things? If I'm going to shell out over $600 for an entire exhaust system, it better be for something better than a stock single exhaust...

The truck in question is a '93 Dakota 4x4 with a Magnum 318.

Hmm.. that sucks on the price.
Too bad yours is 3" OD pipe.
For instance, my 1996, as well as the V8's, use 2.5" OD pipe, and our Y-pipes are $80 at NAPA...

But yea, I don't know who puts out whole exhaust kits for our trucks. You might want to talk to a shop to see what they can do for ya.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll probably end up trying to get a good one from a junkyard. The cat is shot as well, so I'll need to find a small town shop around here that will make me a 3" system without a cat.
