How hard is it to install a after market temp gauge. It is not the sending unit must be the gauge. Was thinking about a under mount generic gauge. Will it be compatiable to my sending unit or if it comes with one whats to say it will be the same thred size? Anyone ever installed one?

 

they usually come with adapters in the kit with the guages, you can get some sun pros cheap and they work great.
