What was done to fix your loose steering and how much did it cost, my '95 has loose steering and feels like it wanders also.

Grease the fittings every oil change is great....if only I did regular oil changes.
If they could put you in jail for truck abuse, they'd lock me up and throw away the key. I have an automatic oil change system. You know the one....as its loses oil you just keep adding fresh oil and ultimately you change the oil...
That's about what it's like with my Escort (yeah I know it's a FORD, but at least it's mostly USA built). It burns oil through the head, manufacturing defect with the valve guides. By the time 3,000 miles is done, I've added 3-4 qts of oil.

Lol, thats what I had to do with my first car... a 1986 Toyota Camry (I know its foreign, but I got it free from my grandpa). It burned about a quart of oil every 7-800 miles. The thing you gotta remember is, you still need to change the filter every 5000 miles or so.

I think I paid $50 for the pitman arm and I borrowed the puller from Advance Auto Parts. The whole job took about 30 mins.

You're saying there's a filter in there too?...
