Default computer question

i recently diagnosed most of my problems with my '93 dakota as being a problem with my computer, now i also own a '91 dakota in which the computer is working fine. the '91 has a base 3.9L efi v6, nothing special, as opposed to my '93 which has the 3.9L magnum v6. now my question is, how compatable are the computers? keeping in mind that the '91 is single port injection and the '93 is multi-port. i would think that there wouldnt be any huge problems, but i wanna make sure first just so i dont break something. and also, if they arent compatable, how can i get a mopar performance computer for my '93 online?

Most of the Mopar Performance Computers out there are for the V8.
