Default Front axle ideas

Hey guys this summer while I am rebuilding my 318 i would like to swap in a soild front axle. Whats your guys input on a leaf spring setup vs. coil over and radius arm setup like the guy that has the utah west website. What axles are heavy enough as I have been tossing the idea of a cummin 4bt in the engine bay

Leaf springs are easier to set up, and a dana 44 or dana 60 would work well.

How do you pull out the intermediate shaft from the front axle on the passenger side of a dodge ram 5.7 4x4? My teeth are worn and I need a new one before I put a new cvshaft on. I tried to get it out and cant. I used a air impact hammer and tried banging where the c lock ring goes.

You may want to ask that on the dodge ram section of this forum.
