Default please help! will a short bed drive tran work with a ext cab

hi! i have a 93 dakota with a back seat! and am looking at a 95 without a back seat for a parts truck. will it work? am hoping to use the rearend to trans! they both have a 3.9 magnum in them and are both 2wd please need a answer asap! Thanks

the only thing you wont be able to use off the '95 is the drive shaft

Agreed. When I did my tranny swap the tranny came out of a reg cab and I have an extended cab, and the trannys were different lengths so I ended up having to have a driveshaft custom made.

You shouldn't need the driveshaft though, you'd be hard pressed to break a driveshaft so your's will still work unless your putting a tranny in that is a different length than your current one.
