Default Seals and bearings during clutch replacement

I have been reading through the 95 service manual and it looks like all I need is a tube of Loctite 518 or gasket maker when I am replacing my clutch. This sound right? I have some oil leaks down there, nothing major, but if I can take it apart and reseal it while I am working on the clutch I will.

I am wondering what I should look into doing right now in terms of bearings or other seals? While I have the transmission down, it would be worth replacing anything else?

I would suggest replacing both the input and output shaft seal on the transmission. I wasn't smart enough to do that with my new 5 speed and its got a slow leak (luckily its at the output shaft seal so I don't have to drop the trans, just the transfer case). I would also suggest replacing the rear main seal in the motor, but that does require a lot more work. You'll have to drop the oil pan to do that, which requires dropping the front axle. It's up to you but I would say go ahead while your this far in.

As far as bearings go, the new clutch should come with a new pilot and throwout bearing, so that should be taken care of.

Yeah, I made sure the new clutch came with throw out bearings and alignment tool. I ended up getting the 10.4 inch clutch for the AX15 transmission and not the 11" like the NV3500 uses. I would sure like to find a NV3500 though sometime to start my V8 swap.

Also, make sure you either replace or at least get the flywheel resurfaced.
