I've actually gotten the cold too long CEL before with the 180, but that was in the middle of winter. It hasn't come on since getting warmer outside. Lol, I knew the loop had a different name, I just couldn't think of it. What I meant to say is that the computer stays in its open loop, but I know know thats not true since like you said, the switch point is probably right around 180.

Oh well... The keggar mod on the new manifold and the headers should give me a lot more power than the lack of an EGR will take away :P

 

Cool! What did you use for the kegger mod? For me I used a sazall with a long blade it got in there good. At that time I also gridded quite a bit of material out of the runners to the heads and the TB.

I used a pneumatic die grinder with a cut-off wheel. It was a tight fit, but it went through the aluminum like butter! I'm not done yet, I'm planning on grinding out the runners where they meet the heads like you mentioned, but when I finish it I'm going to go ahead and install it on the 318 until I get the 408 finished.

I'll get pictures of the manifold when I finish, I cut off about 1.5-2 inches of the runners, it oughta suck in some air now!
