My official 408 stroker build thread...
He is going use the 95 OBD1. There is a company that I found that can flash the computer and will come with a hand held unit for OBD1 (Uses stock system.). Check the post a few up when he lists his plan. It has the site. Also the site is listed in the FAQ2.

hmm.. are you keeping the obdII computer from the 98? or did that come with the engine? I'm not sure how you can flash the computer from the 95, or use a tuner as that's OBDI. I have however, seen the performance chips that will alter the sensor signals to re-tune the computer outputs to the desired effect.
I'm looking at 9.65:1 compression with those pistons and the Iron Ram 62 cc heads according to hughes engines website. I think the stock compression is 9.1:1 with the 360, so it'll be a about .5:1 higher. If I end up getting the block decked, it might be a little bit different. Also, I'm planning on using 93 octane, which is what I use now anyways because of the mopar performance computer I have.

lol this is funny, your building your motor with pretty much the same parts I'm putting in mine. You can check out my build at https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-has-come.html maybe there will be some info in there that might help you.
LOL! That is too funny! They are just about the exact same parts. I guess great minds think alike! You'll probably have that motor up and running way before mine if you don't have it running already, so let me know any problems you run into, how you like it, and most importantly, what kind of numbers it gives!
LOL must be! It's still going to be a few months before I get to put it in. Still got a bunch of parts to order and no money right now lol, and still trying to figure out what I'm going to use to tune it.
Yeah I've looked at B&G before, I just don't like the fact that I would have to send my pcm to them then it still may not be right when I get it back. Right now I got an SCT tuner but to really happy with it. I cant get any one to tune it and SCT wants almost another 400 buck for the tuning software. I'm leaning towards HP Tuners, but they don't know when they'll be ready to release it. I'll come up with something though. lol
i think you should make your 408 stroker look like this guys... >>> https://dodgeforum.com/forum/members...or-change.html
I'd especially like to see long tube headers... it appears that only 2x4's can fit the long tubes w/o a custom set... i was really hoping i could find a pair that don't cost as much as the truck... other than that... i think this one should probably end up looking better... no carb to be seen XD
Yeah, I'd love some long tube headers, but like said above, they don't work well with the 4x4s and I can't afford them. I am going to paint the block orange like the old school hemi's after I get it cleaned at the machine shop. I'd also love that M1 intake! But like I said previously in this thread, I can't afford one of them either... at least not initially.
