Hey, I talked to this guy that is parting out his 98 dakota, Mine is a 95' I was just wondering if his fenders will fit my truck? Also if the box will fit its a long box liek mine, I just dont know if they make the mounts the same for a 1st and 2nd gen?

 

There's no way the fenders will fit. The box might fit but it will look horrid. The 1st and 2nd gen trucks had completely different styled bodies on them, although the boxes should share the same dimensions.

 

my $0.02, dont use them, like 95_318SLT said, the box would look horrible, and the fenders wont line up. the only things usable from a 2nd gen for a 1st gen would be the rims, any engine or tranny parts, and maybe the suspension (not sure about that tho). all the body parts are completely different
