Default Engine start up questions

I made it easier for you people lol
Check out the next post and put an anser down if you know the reason

Title sounds stupid but anyways,
I put a tachometer in a little while ago and it all works and there a badge on the hood that says that the warm up idle is 1800-1900RPMs and when i put the tach in (and for awhile afterwords) when i started it, it would run up to 1800-1900RPMs but now all of a sudden one day i started it and it goes up to there and then keeps on climbing to about 2200RPMs and has done it since and there are also other times after it started doing this when youd start it it would sometimes stall all of a sudden but i want to know what the reason is, it does sound like carb issues to me but why did it start this problem all of a sudden and does it need to be adusted or what you all tell me

If thats to hard for people to figure ill make it simpler for ya lol

When i start it its supposed to run at 1800-1900RPMs for fast idle but now (all of a sudden) it goes to that and then climbs to 2200RPMs......It is carbed but what is the reason for it doing that all of a sudden and what needs to be done

could be a change in the weather.
(if spring based) could be choke spring might have clicked up on a higher fast idle notch.
could be a vacuum leak, that will increase idle speed.

just adjust the fast idle down where it should be. i used to have to adjust my old chevy for cold weather vs warm weather.
