So i found the greatest deal. This guy here is selling an 89 318, NP435, and Np208. Out of a ramcharger w/ little 0ver 100k. So based upon my reading the NP435 is a sick tranny with a low compound gear at 6.68:1 good for low crawling. The NP208 Tcase is supposed to be a tank. What do you guys think would be the best application for this combo... like my 89 2WD or deff. save it for my 4x4 project?

save it for your 4x4 project. the transfer case will be useless in your 2WD

 

Thats what i thought. I didnt want to get this stuff and use it in my 2WD and then find out it would be best for 4X4 which is what i was leaning towards
