Default Need Help

I had 01 r/t durango that i had to get rid of due to expanding family stayed with chrysler, but i talk my wife into letting me but my brothers 2wd 92 dodge dakota for a project truck. I wanted to drop a 340 in but now want to drop a 360 from a r/t model. just wondering what needs to be done. i know new motor mounts and ecu, and maybe tranny. what would be easier 340 or the 360? please help

Well can you give us more info about the '92? What engine is currently in it? The 360 is externally identical to the 318, so you would have direct fit parts for the 360. I don't know much about the 340, but I'd imagine it would be a lot more work.

All 5.9s are the same from Dakota R/T, Rams, Vans, Jeeps. And check the FAQ2 in this section for engine swaps.
