Exclamation 93 Dakota jerks

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, so bear with me. I have a 93 dakota(5.2L/V8) that jerks during all driving speeds. It's great at idle and during acceleration. I've given it a tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter), replaced the EGR valve, new battery, new fuel pump, and the PCM. It's not giving me any codes, and it starts right up. Can anyone please give me a few suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean by jerks? Does it do during shifting only? On bumps? When you press the gas more? If it is happing during shifting then you would want to adjust the TV cable. It is the cable that goes to the transmission. For more info on it check out the FAQ in this section.

Yeah, do you have more specifics about the issue. The first thing that comes to my mind is worn out u-joints or too much ring gear backlash.

I went through something similar where it felt like someone was almost constantly tugging on the throttle cable making it feel like the truck was "bucking" or "jerking". In my case it was the Idle Air Control sensor which is known to cause problems. You might do as previously suggested and take a look at the Faqs sheets as to location and detailed information on troubleshooting and replacement.

It almost feels like it misses, sort of. Hesitates might be a better word. Shifiting is fine, acceleration is fine. It's only when youl're driving along...it starts missing, or jerking...it's enough to make you sick to your stomach.
