Default Shelby Electric Fans

Gonna set a '92 318 Magnum in the wife's '90 Dakota, and don't want to change the front sheetmetal. Anybody have any pics of the fan setup that Shelbys used? Only have an inch between the grille and A/C condenser, interested in how they arranged things.

No I don't think anyone will. But you can check the few sites we have on the shelby listed in the FAQ in this section. Or you can check the FAQ2 for a list of fans that will work on the dakotas. Also for pics from an electric fan swap check out this post. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...etric-fan.html

Pulled the 318 Magnum and it's junk. Found an '82 D-350 with a fresh rebuilt 360 4bbl for $500. Bought it. Here's some pics of the Dakota it's going in, only gave $100 for it. Already did the interior, new windsheild, new brakes all around and rotors/brgs on the front. Swapped in a 3.55 geared 8 1/4" and new rubber on the refinished wheels.

Building it for the wife, gonna spray it Plum Crazy with some black AAR Cuda style stripes and a blacked out hood. Maybe the 360 will give it enough ***** to back it up. This started as a V-6 rebuild, it has definately gone haywire.

Cool! Looks like a good project! I love the long beds! More room to haul junk in! That 360 will make it scream! Keep us posted with plenty of pics along the way.

hate bringing out old threads but figured i'd let you know how the shelby fans are set up, they are between the radiator and the condenser so they push threw the radiator and pull threw the condenser, they are a pain to get to and repair. the next tie i have them out i will take a pic and post it
