so im guessing they will have 2 different options one for the towing and such and the othier for sport the faster shifting..

it doesnt hit really hard like the transmission feels as if its going to fall out does it?it just prevents it from shifting as much as it does stock?

ya i do it all the time too. always run first gear low range on tight trails, lol and second gear depending on were im playing ethier high or low range havent got her stuck yet.lol

Well no, shift kits don't typically have selectable shift types. Honestly, when towing, you want the shift kit to shift very fast, because the faster it shifts the less you burn up the clutches. I've felt some shift kits that about break your neck from 1st to 2nd, but I can't say for sure what this specific one will do. My honest opinion is, if I still had an auto in my truck, I'd have put in a shift kit by now. I'm not in it for the luxury and comfort, and even though they feel like the transmission will fall out, in actuality, the transmission will last much longer with one.

the shift kit i just put in my 93 a518 was $22 and i drilled two holes larger in the seperator plate, 2 holes on the valve body itself and put a manual valve in and new spring on the line psi adjuster
the directions were easy and it works good
