Default not your typical headlight issue.

Hi. I tried searching for my issue but it seems everyone with headlight issues can't get them to come on. Well... i can't get them to shut off. Switch off and key off and the darn lights stay on. Only way i can get them off is unhook a battery cable or unplug the switch. Is there any way i can test the switch to tell if it's screwed or does this seem like it could be a wiring issue instead. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are FSMs in FAQ2 that you can download that have wire diagrams and troubleshooting that might be able to help you, but electrical problems are typically very difficult to diagnose over a forum.

You can get a new switch from local parts houses for about $20-25. After about 10-15 min, I'll bet the problem is gone.
