HD Half Ton Suspension
so i was searching my local classifieds to see if i had any hits on my old '91, and i came accross a '96 that he claims has heavy duty half ton suspension. the truck even has a HD sticker on the side. i was wondering if this was just another package that dodge had done. AND how hard it would be to install it myself, unless its a 4x4....

There is nothing that I know of. But what sticker are you talking about that you got? Take a pic. I think the guy doesn't know what he is talking about. He also named it king cab. When it is a Club cab. Small difference but that may be what is going on with the suspension. Yes you can upgrade very easy. I installed a Ram 2500 leaf springs under my truck. It is what gave me my lift. No cheater blocks for me.

how much lift did you acheive with the 2500 suspension?
Like Crazy said, there was never one made called the HD version. I'm going to throw out a guess that he installed some Ram 1500 springs or has the towing package, or add-a-leafs or something similar on it and put that sticker on himself.
I do have to say though, thats a lot of stuff in the back of that truck and its not sagging very far.

it actually almost looks like the box is still sitting higher than stock with that crap back there. but yeah, after a closer look, it does look like that sticker was just added afterward.
