Default Shifter Question. Need Help!!

Ive got a 1996 Dodge Dakota 5.2L with the NV3500. The shifting is starting to get sloppy. What bushings and all will I need to replace to get the tightness back and where can I get them. Im considering getting a short throw shifter, just wondering wheres a good cheap place to find them. Thanks

I've never examined the parts of the shifter assembly, but the factory service manual available for download in FAQ2 has a complete tear down of the NV3500 that would probably answer your question.

As for the short throw shifter... the only one I know of is the Hurst shifter, but its not cheap.
