Default Shocking question

Its time to replace the shocks on my Dakota. My truck never sees offroad but does tow often. I was thinking of going with Monroe Sensatrac all around as they seem to be the best for ride. I was also thinking of either using add a leaf's to the rear or these.. http://www.amazon.com/Monroe-58613-S.../dp/B000C53S0C . Has anyone tried either the add a leaf's or the Monroe load adjusting shocks? I just don't want it to sag as much with heavy loads. Just looking for opinions. Thanks.

Crazy4X4RT replaced his rear springs with those from a Ram. He said it was an easy swap and if you can find a pair from a salvage yard, might be cheaper than buying aftermarket stuff. I am thinking about this myself

Not sure what shocks would be best. Mine are still stock, but I am sure you will get some others to chime in here.

I have the Monroe sensatrac towing shocks on my truck and I like them. I pulled a 5500lb trailer a couple months ago and the back end barely sagged at all... Like maybe 1-1.5 inches.

Another good shock for towing is air shocks. Adjust them to any level you want. Available at checkers/ oriley's. I have some and played around with it. I was able to lift my truck with towing a 5,000lb trailer. Or you can air it down and have a nice comfortable ride.

I got the Sensatrac's with the load adjusting ones for the rear. Didn't want to do air shocks unless I set up an onboard compressor and all that jazz which sounds like more work than it's worth. I work at a parts store and have seen too many problems from air shocks. Going to put them on today and I get to test them out soon as I just bought a car for $81 !!!! Gotta love ebay.
