yea ive looked at trail masters kit and i downloaded there installation guide so im gonna build a good design like a twist to theres im gonna do a 2"&4"&8" i have a buddy who welds so i can have him extend steering and driveshafts ohh this gonna be fun lol i plan on because the body is in rough shape im gonna bondo it all and run diamond plate about a foot up from bottom from front to rear on both sides and paint the truck black and have black rims with the chrome center pieces like you see and black roll bars with chrome lights yes fun fun fun and i already bought 33x12.5x15 tires in nrims but bolt pattern is 5on5.5 is this our bolt pattern?? i can use rims i got

ohh on the kift if it works out is there anyone that might be intrested if i can keep it under 400 without shocks might even be able to do it for that with shocks im hoping but i want to build and "test" it wink wink lol

My plan is also based off the trailmaster suspension lift. I was going to make drop mounts for the lower control arms, spacers for the upper ball joint, drop mounts for the torsion bar crossmemeber and for the front axle. I don't have my sway bar anymore, so there is no need for me to mess with drop mounts for it. There is also no need to mess with trying to drop the steering box down or lengthen the steering shaft. I was thinking about re-tapering the holes in the knuckles where the tie rods go in and flipping the tie rods over so they only have to flex a little bit more. There is plenty of adjustment in them. My estimated cost was between $200-250 for materials.

I spent a lot of time studying this picture... maybe it will help you. (its the trailmaster kit on a early Dakota)...

For not a whole lot more than that you could probably stuff a solid axle under there. Youd end up with a much simpler, more flexible design that wouldnt break as often. Especially if you can weld and cut materials yourself. All you really need to do is make your own shackle hangers if you get the right axle. You may need to cut and turn the perches, but thats not bad. Less time consuming that modifying your current suspension.

Add a leaf will give you some height and add a little stiffness. A sway bar wont do anything at all. Actually it may decrease your ride height a little.

Im not sure on the keys. They may work.

I'm not to sure about the keys. It looks to be the same. And the rear will work. But you can find the 1st gen kits on ebay if you just search. Here are the keys by them selfs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-...=p4506.c0.m245
